I'm not sure if you can tell, but unlike many other bloggers out there I ignore doing my eyebrows. It has been my insecurity and complex for the longest time! I've always wanted slightly thinner eyebrows rather than the hairy slugs I deem them to be. XD Fast forward to now, I'm growing to accept (or tolerate) my eyebrows, and I can see how they really make one look more polished.
That aside, I thought I'd share with you a relatively new product - the K-Palette 1 Day Tattoo Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Pencil. Longest name ever! I don't understand what it is with new products and horrendously long names. K-Palette is a Japanese brand known for their eye products, and is a brand I frequently see when I enter Beauty Bar (think along the lines of a mini-Sephora). As someone new to the eyebrow world, I thought this product would be great as an addition to my 1 man army of pencils.
This product has three other colours, which are lighter, so check those out if your brows are lighter coloured than mine!

Packaging & Ease of Use
Its a fairly simple-looking pencil, but what got me was that it was dual-ended. It has a pencil on one end and a powder (instead of the usual spoolie) on the other. This I think would be amazing for travel because you can choose which brow product you can use for the day. I do think that it would have been even more travel-friendly if it did come with a spoolie, much like the packaging for the Tarte Brow Architect. If your brows aren't unruly though, you can probably do without it.

On one end, you have the pencil, which has a very tiny nib. I find it very similar to the famous Anastasia Brow Wiz, though I haven't seen it for myself in real life. This is really great if you really want to go in detail to draw brow hairs. You can definitely be very precise in where you draw your eyebrows which I think is great for both beginners and veterans both. It is also very pigmented and the colour is slightly ashy, which I find looks more natural than red-toned colours.
Sadly, since the nib is so tiny and thin, I find that it breaks easily in the event that you drop this dual-ended product. I accidentally dropped mine and a part of the pencil broke (only a small portion thankfully). This definitely put me off because the pencil does get consumed quickly. I'd say be cautious not to drop this and don't twist the pencil out, just in case!
The other end is a powder on a rubber sponge tip. The powder is very pigmented, more than the pencil, so I would recommend using a light hand with this as you can easily go overboard. If I use this alone, I press it on the areas which have less hair on my brows and comb though using a spoolie. The powder is easy to blend which I really appreciate in the event that I do over apply (which is often). I find that this gives a much softer, diffused look to the brows which I don't mind.
I did notice that the powder contains a tiny bit of shimmer particles. I find this quite strange as I don't know what the purpose of that shimmer is, but thankfully it does not register when applied on the brows.
Results and Lasting Power
Bare brows
Left side filled with pencil, right side bare
Both eyebrows filled with pencil and powder
They look kind of scary only because they're close-ups! See a full face with these on here
The resulting look can range from natural to slightly bold, for those who want to go for the bold brow look. I find that this lasts all day, which is why I use this product whenever I know I'm going to be out for more than 4 hours. I've also seen from other reviews that this is waterproof, which should make it even more long-lasting. I've never purposely doused myself with water to check, but even on really hot days when all I seem to do is sweat, my eyebrows still look the same at the end of the day as they did right after application.
Price and Availability
I got this for P795 at Beauty Bar. I don't buy eyebrow products but I found the price to be reasonable for its good quality. Since the product is relatively new, they should have a lot of this in stock at all stores. This is also available in Rustans Shangrila and Makati. Of course, this will be available in Japan as K-Palette is apparently a drugstore product! Nice to know because I thought I was breaking my rule for this year.

Repurchase? 65% yes. I do like the product itself but I'm very bothered at how it easily breaks. It will be a while before I repurchase any brow products, though, since my Lioele one isn't even a third of the way used! I'll fully decide then, unless another company comes out with a similar product but with a spoolie.
I hope this was helpful for anyone looking to purchase this! There were only 2 reviews when I heard about this product so I hope more people get to try. If you already did, feel free to tell me about your experience with this below! Also feel free to share any similar products you might have encountered. :)

Thank you for the kind words, Rachel! :)
DeleteThanks for a great product review. Although it seems like the pros and cons are pretty equal, the fact that this product stays on makes it a win to me. Still looking for a brow product that is going to stay on while I go swimming and surfing though!
