TRAVEL: Anvaya Cove, Morong

I'll say it outright - I'm not a beach person. I love the feeling of sun on my skin but I don't like how easily it makes me tan and how it accelerates aging (fun fact of the day, in case you didn't know). I'm not a very adventurous swimmer either, and I don't even own swim wear anymore! Nonetheless, I was up for any kind of out-of-town trip to get away from all the stress.

My family went to Anvaya Cove yesterday since my aunt's family was visiting from Sydney. I've never been to there, though I've been to several resorts in Morong already. It's one of those classy members-only resorts, about 30 or so minutes away from Subic. It was isolated from everything (in a good way), and even if we were just there for the afternoon, the atmosphere made me relax and forget about most of what I was stressing out about, which is something I don't always get from vacations. Also the cove itself is definitely one of the best I've seen so far in the Morong area. 

Being the forgetful person that I am, I forgot to bring my DSLR. -_- So all the photos here were taken by one of the newer models of a Sony Cybershot. I have to admit, the quality isn't bad for a digital camera, but at the same time it just reminds me that I need a new lens.
